Berlinska Dróha’s beginnings can be traced back to a festival at the polish border in 2007, where uta joined in singing the sorbian folk song "palenc" from the audience at a geigerzähler gig. shortly afterwards there was a completely spontaneous and improvised performance of both in the berlin "fischladen", when paul and uta realized: it works! since then the two have toured the republic – and sometimes even the world – with their sorbian and german songs as Berlinska Dróha. gigs have taken place and will continue to do so in the most varied locations: from køpi to the sorbian museum, from ukraine to morocco. the diy 7" vinyl "berlinska dróha" was released in 2009. 2011 saw the release of the studio album "wokoło róžka – um die ecke", in 2014 the second studio album "wočiń durje" was released, and with this records in their luggage they feel the need to go out into the world and meet its people, because this is what is most important to the band.
